There are many choices of restaurants, including the famous Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary will require reservations during the summer and fall season. Jenny’s is perfectly located for fall foliage tours.

Seasonally, pick fresh fruit; plan a picnic; swim, boat, fish or hike in a beautiful estate park (Wilcox Park) just minutes away.  Horseback riding, hunting and golfing are also nearby.

Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

While in the area, visit the Rhinebeck Center for Performing ArtsBard College, and the Omega Institute. Just minutes from us you can enjoy an olde time “World War I” Air Show at the “Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome”.

Many events take place at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds including the popular Dutchess County Fair every August and the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival in October, located in the Historic Village of Rhinebeck.

If you are a car buff, this is the place to come for and the Hudson River Valley Antique Auto Assoc. Swap Meet and Car Show every May.

You will enjoy Ezra and Donna’s collection of 1940 & 50 Chevrolets. They also have a large collection of die cast car models of all makes and models displayed in the breakfast room.
